Heart and Soul K9 Information

At Heart and Soul K9 we  provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during their stay.  In order to ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:

Recommended Age: 6 months of age or older. All pets must be spayed or neutered between 6 – 8 months in order to attend Heart and Soul K9 daycare or stay for boarding. Younger dogs may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Health: All dogs must be in good health.  Owners will certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition within the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of our other guests.  Dogs that have been ill with a communicable disease within the last 30 days will require a veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.

Vaccinations: We do not believe in over-vaccination and urge against it.  However, we do require vaccinations or titer tests in accordance with your veterinarian’s recommendations and local laws.

Behavior: All dogs are required to have an evaluation assessment in order to be accepted into daycare and boarding.  Dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify that their dog(s) have not harmed or shown any aggression or threatening behavior towards any person or other dog(s). Please remember that your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.

Application: All dogs must have a completed, up-to-date approved application on file. We will send you an application via email before your dog’s first visit to the center.

Fees: We must have a credit card on file or prepayment before a dog is accepted into Heart and Soul K9 for daycare or boarding.

Saturdays: 8am –10am and 5 – 7pm
